River Hills WI Second Floor Residential Remodel

This home is tucked into a relaxed area of the city.  The husband and wife wanted to turn their basement into a better use for them and their two kids.  The wife wanted a mudroom directly off their exterior walkout door with ample space and storage for laundry.  The husband wanted a secondary office space, as well as a room for entertainment. They also wanted room for their kids to play.  With the basement being fully unfinished, it was the perfect home to build their perfect relaxation getaway!

We had to level part of the foundation, as well as replace some of the footings of the posts that were beginning to sink.

Our design transformed this ordinary space into a luxurious sanctuary, exceeding the client's dreams. By combining two small bedrooms and a single bathroom, we created a sprawling primary suite. The recessed lighting, ceiling-mounted fixtures, and wall sconces with dimmers washed the suite in a warm glow, setting the stage for relaxation and indulgence. A private hallway creates a transition into the suite and separates the bedroom and bathroom from the expansive walk-in closet, ensuring ultimate privacy and a seamless flow. We also converted the existing Jack-and-Jill bathroom into a private guest bathroom, providing a comfortable and stylish space for visitors.

The second floor laundry room and primary bathroom layout is certainly a testament to our design skills. We strategically routed plumbing lines through the walls below and concealed structural support in the attic above, creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The guest bathroom blends form and function. The meticulously redesigned layout and cabinetry offers abundant space and storage, while the tilework creates a visually stunning and inviting atmosphere.

My wife and I were planning on a substantial remodeling while preserving the character and style of our home. What impressed us was this company first discussed our vision and expectations before walking through the project area. The sourcing of custom materials and selected hardware refreshed our home.
